Fab Day

Post by Jeepin Divas 401 »

Hey guys I would like to host a fab day at our place in Tucson sometime in March.
Things to think on projects will have to be things we can get done in 6 or so hours . We have welders , plasma , benders and all the clamps and hand tools.
If you know what you would like to build and out of what we can have it here for you in steel.

I'm in for some rock sliders! Especially if the Divas are welding...

And if dates are open, the last weekend in March works best for me (3/29-30). But I will make other days work. That weekend would just put me in my wife's graces a little more.

So either you have a tendency to try and catch birds, or it's in case you get lost, others will know where you are? :P

I hope no one gets flashed and needs to be guided by his bells. I too like Drew's days. I will know more later next week. So do we take the raw materials with us if we can? Sliders for sure would be my build.

Awesome! I think my plan is this: Trailer the Jeep with the family down to visit friends in Cochise on Friday. Early Saturday morning I'll drive the Jeep from Cochise to Bob's, then back on Sat night. Head home Sunday with the Jeep on the trailer. That way my wife gets to visit her best friend and I get to work on the Jeep. I'll probably at least have my 13yr old, Justin, with me. He loves this stuff. Too bad he can't be my designated driver going back Sat night... ;-)

What's going to be cool (or not cool) is watching me get pwned by the fab skills of Bob's girls. I can't even weld. Yet.

Don't worry Drew, I too will have to showcase my skills, which does not involve what we will be doing  . Time to don the rain suit.

It is a time of learning my friend.
