yup.

the problem with Moab and FSJ's is simple - they aren't built for rock crawling at all. You have to build 'em up like we did and not many people do.

Here is the route we are taking. Planning to leave Longmont around 7am, eating breakfast with a buddy then heading to Mason's Draw campground, which isn't too far from Moab. Basically, we are 'wheeling from grand junction to Moab. :fsj:

I want bring the chop-top to Moab, but can't do it this time. I would have to trailer it. But it's on the radar for next year. :)

So save the easy stuff for Thursday and Friday :lol:

We made it to moab without issue.

Ran hells revenge and hells gate in the Lexus and had a great time!

we wheeled for a week and have made it home.

carnage includes;

front factory lexus tow hook at the white wash sand dunes
J10 bent front spring (more bent) at golden crack. drove home on it.
J10 broken throttle cable on the way back home. put on a spare and drove home.
J10 broken traction bar bolt on golden bar rim. replaced in camp the next day

good times were had :fsj:
