Doing fine here. Jeep is running pretty good, but still needs some tweeking.

Yeah, I pulled the complete Sanden A/C, alternator mounts, pulleys and front and rear window washer reservoirs off that Jeep.

Need to plan a day soon. Not sure where everyone else is. Been pretty dead here.

Got new tires and may need a new springs now, bigger tires :) May take these off to get resprung in the mean time.
We should plan for day out in the wild again.

Going to be a Jeep Meetup (other vehicles beside jeeps welcomed) at the Boise Spectrum (Edwards 21) lot on March 7th. Would be cool to show the FSJ colors there. I plan on being there. http://www.meetup.com/Boise-Jeep-Meetup ... 220147263/

Just a reminder, meetup this Saturday at 12:00 at the Spectrum parking lot (Edwards 21 in Boise). Then also, I am planning a trip the next Saturday out by Mountain Home to check out some sights. Anyone can tag along if they want. Will include some hiking too.

I don't think I will be ready tomorrow. Parts didn't come today so doubt that I will be all done. Hope next week it will be done.

Wrong parts were shipped, again. No one in town has transmission mount or dust cover for throughout lever, I had to order from BJs.

Finally got to meet Herk. Thanks for coming out it was nice talking to you.

Looks like we are trying to get a trip together on the 21st. Probably going to be Big Foot Bar again. Good shake down trip for sure.

Going to make a trip out by Mountain Home this coming Saturday. Going to hit a abandoned homestead that has a beehive cold storage and outdoor kitchen that is still present, as well as old foundation of homestead. Also, Canyon Creek stage station, Tea Pot Dome and Hot Spring Enclosure. Tea Pot Dome will include a under two mile round trip hike. Geocaching will be included.

Hey Idaho! Fellow Boise fellow here. Just picked up my first FSJ this Sunday from Idaho Falls, 1979 Cherokee Chief Golden Eagle

some pics over here: http://fsjnetwork.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=8105

That trip through the Owyhees sounds like a blast, I love the scenery out that way. Not sure that I'll have things running well enough by this weekend though.. I've got some electrical battles ahead of me.

Just a reminder that there is a off-road adventure waiting for you.

Saturday, April 25, 2015 8:00 AM at Jacksons Food 101 East Idaho Avenue, Homedale, ID.

If anyone is interested we can do a meetup in Boise and then head down to Homedale. A bunch of FSJ's would be cool.

Hope you're having a blast out there right now, wish I could have made it.

Here's my current checklist that needs completed before I can go on one of these:

-Finish the spark plugs (damn wobble joint)
-New wires, distributor cap and rotor
-Exhaust manifold gaskets (and manifold to tail pipe donut gasket)
-Complete overhaul of the fuel system.. ripping out the dual tanks, rubber hosing, double fuel pump setup and returning to a stock single tank with stainless steel braided lines
-Brakes need bled, while I'm at it may as well replace the front rotors and pads since they're getting squeaky. One of my rear drums is showing signs of leakage, too...
-Currently only have 4 wheels/tires, did not come with a spare. I don't like the size of them anyways, so need to get 5 new wheels/tires...
-Electrical needs cleaned up, grounds all need inspection, fuses should probably be refreshed
-None of my dash cluster works except for speedometer and ammeter, and the speedometer cable needs lubed. Oh and the brake warning light is on
-Ammeter needs bypassed
-Serehill headlight relay upgrade
-Rear window does not roll down
-Steering wheel is squeaky
-Driver interior door handle has a stripped screw on it which is just really annoying because I have to reach out the window to engage the exterior door handle button to release the door latch.

... At least it doesn't have any rust. Engine runs pretty good, when it's not choking for fuel.

Best get to working!

Great ride yesterday. We were even able to drive up the reservoir, great fun. Weather was perfect for a desert run. Check out the pictures here. See you soon.
