Going to a nice warm spring and the fishing is awesome there too for small mouth bass. The road in does get a little rough and hairy the last few miles, but that is what a jeep is for. Anyone who is interested is welcome to tag along.
What warm spring is this? I definitely want to check it out.

I think places like these need to become secrets again so that hopefully they will fade back into obscurity again. I have been going to this warm spring for 21 years and I have seen it transform into a unknown destination except for the few who knew about it. It was a place that you could stay a whole weekend and not see anyone else except for those that where in your party. Then there was a rash of Hot Spring books that came out in the late 90's, one even had the picture of the hot spring on the cover, and there was a influx of people showing up to where we had 3 or 4 parties in there at one time with people moving in and out everyday. The road went from a rough two track to a well used dirt track. Just in the last few years I have noticed that the road is transforming back into a two track, and getting rougher. Less people seem to be hanging out there now. But even with that I do believe it is on borrowed time before this whole area becomes another park that we will have to pay to see.

With that said, if I see you tailing me in someday......... I may not try and shake you. After all you are driving a FSJ and not a Subaru......... :-bd

I know of some other places that are not on the radar. As long as they are secret to the few they will be around for us to enjoy.

 Believe it or not.. the Golden Eagle is running! Carpet is going in this week, a few loose ends to tie up, and then we'll be ready for action. A planned "tailing" venture may need to be in order..

I much prefer the natural springs over the pay to soak parks. I typically frequent those along highway 21 and Banks Lowman road, Crouch, etc. I find if I go on Friday mornings they're usually clean and empty. It's the weekends, and springs closer to Boise that you have to be wary of especially.

That cave looks like Craters of the Moon? I've done some spelunking there back in the day :-bd

No, not at Craters. Opposite direction.

I saw your Jeep Friday when I stop to check out the shop. Looking good. :-bd
