Denver area Christmas Caravan For Kids

Post by derf »

The Christmas Caravan For Kids is going on again. It's a big event where we drop off toys for the Marines' Toys-For-Tots and then get to see a bunch of 4WD vendors showing off their stuff.

Last year a couple of us from the Denver area met up for the caravan at Fay Meyers Motorcycle World. There are a few other caravan locations across the metro area.

Is anyone else interested in going? I'll be at the Fay Meyers location (9700 E. Arapahoe Road Greenwood Village, CO 80112). Though I may get volunteered to lead the caravan out of Golden, we'll see.

It's Saturday December 3rd. Meet up seems to be around 8:30. or so, leaving the location at 9:00am.

Edited. :-bd

Oh, and remind me to show off my Ham gear when we meet up. :)

Another thing. If you watch the slide show on the main page, I do believe your wagon shows up.

How far is the caravan? where does it end up at?

It'd be cool to fill Dorothy with presents...

I just moved my storage containers out of golden a few months ago. Thought I was done with that area. I wouldn't mind doing the Christmas ride if I could but a lot has to fall into place for that to happen.

Several meet up spots around town. It all ends up at Lincoln Tech just off I70.

If you can't fix it with a hammer or duct tape you have an electrical problem.

If my trip this weekend gets cancelled I'll be around to come. If not, I hope everyone else has fun!

At least 3 of us will be at Fay Meyers Motorcycle World for the meet up. It's at I25 and Arapahoe. That might be a bit of a drive for several people.

I'm not entirely opposed to meeting up at a different site if everyone wants to meet up somewhere else.

I am open for meeting up at a different site other than the Faye Meyers site.
