sweet! I'm looking forward to chatting with yall tomorrow evening!

Ya, the old honcho has been on/off the street view for a while. Right now, it's parked in the backyard and is not visible from the street, but I will try and pull it out. The best way to know when you are there is the Coleman camper sitting in my driveway (pictured above) and a couple of landcruisers.

We need to set a time, my wife likely won't be home until 6 and we're about an hour away. Also, what should we bring? Hot dogs and beer?

Cool! Blake, this may be a dumb question but you do have a grill, right? We'll be there around 7 or shortly after with hotdogs and something hoppy that is also native! Looking forward to seeing you Jaber! I don't think we've met in real life before, since I don't recall ever seeing a J-wrecker in Ouray!

Heck ya, I'm excited too!

I have a normal gas grill and I also have a small smoker. The smoker has a main area where you put the meat, then a side burner where you put the charcoal and wood. I have some Pecan wood for it, but it needs chopped up.

So get this - last night I decided to move the GN trailer so I could fetch the honcho out of the backyard. The honcho hasn't ran (or even been started) since Memorial weekend. So I get my GF to pull the GN out into the culdesac so I could move the honcho. It started right up of course (TBI) and the crankshaft counterweight is still hitting the oil pan, making a knocking sound. Pulled it straight forward about 40 feet then tried to turn right into my street. then it went BAM! (like really loud and jerkey BAM!). I hadn't noticed until a couple of days ago when Nikkormat was over, but the steering ram is bent too. My GF said the steering ram looked it is was going to break the tie rod cause it was so violent. So the honcho is parked out in the street in front of my camper at 920 Quartz ct. You can't miss it! I may try and remove the steering hoses from the steering box and replace them with some NPT plugs and remove the ram. I then gotta weld up the oil pan. I won't need the RAM for Ouray anyway.

So ya folks, some on out, eat some hot dogs/chips/etc, drink some beer and look at the carnage!

pecan wood smoking sounds a little high brow for hotdogs, even though I don't buy the cheap ones ( I prefer the lips and bungholes be ground up from the same species). The gas grill will be about right though! Who all else is going? Is anyone bringing refreshments of a less refreshing nature?

Sounds like we are gonna have a nice turnout tonight!

It's gonna be very casual, so bring whatever you want, eat/drink whatever you want, do whatever you want, etc etc
