Ok Colorado guys... Who want a free 89 waggy?

Post by Nikkormat »

Earlier today I was contacted by a gentleman needing a Wagoneer haules away for free. So I obliged and set about the six hour task of freeing it, and then winding back through the neighborhoods on the end of a rope with one flat tire to salvation in a friend's driveway.

Home free for wrenching, or so we thought.

His parents have decided his one waggy is enough and they want the 89 gone tomorrow.

I can't take it home, can't take it to Bob's, so I need someone else to adopt her. And see that she is put to good use.

It's an 89 Wagoneer. Grey, with surprisingly little rust. It's actually in pretty good shape. Haven't had time for a detailed inspection but she's all there. Needs a few pulleys, belts, and a distributor cap to be a driver. Currently doesn't run but engine is not locked up.

Like I said I really want to wrench on it with my best friend but his parents say he has to many projects. And I currently have my hands in 6 other FSJ's. So she is up for adoption and needs to go ASAP.

The catch: no title. You'll need to jump through those hoops.

Who's got a trailer and a hole in their life? I'm around all day to help load. It's located up in Evergreen.

Now has 4 tires with air and rolls easily. Brakes work so it will be easy to load and unload.

Please call or text me at 801-201-2542. Need to move her before big snow flies.

Do the previous owners have a registration?

I might be interested in this contraption.

If you could throw up a pic, I would appreciate it.
