I love winter in Colorado! I also love that they have extended the "traction law" to the entire front range today! It's not just I-70 headed up the mountains but the whole Denver metro area. Happy blizzard mountain peeps!

It's pretty zany down here in Centennial. Just went to get coffee (of course we are out, today of all days) and visibility was maybe 1000ft? And of course the Jeep's battery won't charge back up (why today of all days??). Not super deep but it is accumulating fast.

I listen to Peter Boyles on KNUS on line in the morning and from the road reports was glad I wasn't working in Denver area today. Wheatridge for some reason always looses power at least that is what it seemed like when I was living there
I've noticed that too, no idea why Wheatridge is that way.
So I'm a robot mechanic for lack of a better term; my job is building and fixing automated equipment. But today, I'm an overpaid car pusher, haha! The plant manager called a snow day when his subaru couldn't get him here so I've been helping all the production people get their cars out. Good times!

We got a solid 8-9" in Fort Collins. I took the day off and watched Garrett all day. I had to dig my car out last night and still got stuck 2x in my driveway. Finally I just used the Dodge to pull the Jetta out to the street. Wish I could have gotten out to play a little. Saw quite a few vehicles in the ditch this morning on the way to work.
One of our salesmen lives in Cheyenne and he sent me a picture of his yard... 3' with 5' drifts!
Did a search on Youtube and didn't see any epic crash videos on I80... <sadface>
I got to paid play in it all day! Up here in Evergreen we got about 20 inches and it was WET and HEAVY. Wiped me out.
I got to spend a lot of the day buzzing around our little "Down Town" clearing sidewalks on a four wheeler. After a few hours I was soaked and had to go home for dry clothes. Halfway into the driveway the truck got stuck. So I also had to throw the rear tires back on the Jeep to take it out.
Even though the snow was bumper deep the Jeep walked right up out of the driveway no problem. It pulled out 6 plows and the four wheeler a couple of times. Good times.
Put me a little behind schedule for my vacation though. I was supposed to leave at 6am the following day and I'm only now getting ready to hit the road.
Well I hope you have fun in Utah! I got some good pics and vids of my wife, kid and dogs playing in the yard. We ended up with just under 2ft but it's almost all gone now.
