Just a post to see if anyone is interested in a weekend trip to Three Forks Oregon. Great fishing, cool sights, nice warm spring to soak in. The wife and I are looking to go on the weekend of August 29,30,30.

I am not sure if I can make it all three days. I might just do a day trip. I am planning to do my clutch here in few days been putting it off can't make up my mind which clutch to get. Napa or BJs???
Hope to get it done in couple of days, I am itching for a trip in the Jeep.

Not a problem. It takes about 2 1/2 hours to get in there. The last few miles takes the longest it seems though. I know what you mean. I have got the Cherokee running quite good now and I am wanting to get it out on a run. Got my in town MPG up from 8.5 to 10.7. I want to see what she will do on the road.

Some pictures from a trip a few years back.

I'll see what's going on that weekend. We have inventory at work that week but I think I can make it up on Sat.

Alright, time for another trip! Anyone up for finishing the Danskin lookout trip in the next couple weeks? We can do the lookout and the craters out by Mountain Home. Then maybe lunch at the Stage Stop, or dinner, depending on how late we are. Just putting it out there. :fsj:

Heya RLRH!
Where abouts are you? I have a place between Lewistown and Grass Range I'll be heading back to next year before heading over to NorDak to make some money.

Miss me some Big Sky for sure.

Nice. Where's your place? I know that area real well. I'm up on the highline between Havre and Shelby. So, you're in CA now? What do you do out there and are you headed to the Bakken next year? I lived for awhile in Fresno. Missed the Big Sky too and had to get back tot his part of the country (normality, lol)

My place is between Lewistown and Grass Range just off the highway about 15 miles. If you know where the old railroad bed is, you kinda know where my place is. Nice and quiet with 80 acres paying the taxes with alfalfa the last 15 years.
Yeah, been in cali awhile taking care of my elders and going over the the oil patch to haul pipe for a few years to fill up the depleted bank account.
Family first and all that.

If you guys are in the area you are welcome to come along anytime. I guess my other Jeep friends are too busy or something.

Sounds good ghcoe. ID is just a little out of my range. Someday maybe though. Thanks for the invite.

Sound like another fun ride. I've been thinking about heading back out and making it to the top.

Hold on!
Some of us here on the coast are having a meet n greet in Sonora that same day. Two groups from the same network meeting on the same day? Surely the earth will implode! :P
