79 Chief where to place 6BT mounts

Post by 2326davis@gmail.com »

I've looked through thread after thread, can anyone point me in the right direction to where and how I would need to place motor mounts for a 6BT on my 79 Chief?

Wow that's extremely high, I saw another thread where somebody used a cross member off of a w350 and it sat down about 5 inches below the frame. Of course the guy had a lift and it was a 12 valve 6bt. Are the motor mounts in different positions between a person second gen 12 valve also the newer 24 valves.

Thank you so much for the info!
