Was just out there for the Street Car Super Nationals drag racing at the race track there, the weekend before thanks giving and towed the '73 Camaro out there with the Wagoneer, which did awesome.

Ever considered an aftermarket FI controller with an LS swap? The stock ECU is a pain to retrofit but companies like MSD have kits that replace the stock ECU with an easy to wire easy to tune setup. They even have a carburetor retrofit kit that I might consider for me next Jeep.

I have really considered an aftermarket system. My buddy is running a turboed lq4 in his '73 Camaro, he is selling it and swapping in an l33 (Aluminum thick block 5.3, which drops him into a different weight class for some wonky 235/60r15 drag radial outlaw class that he is set on running. If his father does not gobble it up I will (Without the turbo stuff) and decide if it goes into the Camaro and the fresh mild vortec 350 goes into the wagoneer with a different cam (howards 180325-10 is in it 224/231 on a 110 lsa .525/.531 lift, is just a little too soggy down low for the Wagoneer towing without a lot more rear gear or into the Wagoneer, probably with the same cam swap and rear gears.. haha.
