Fuel Pump

Post by Renodemona »

(Sorry for double post, just trying to get as broad an audience as possible)
Greetings!
Ive been running an electric fuel pump as part of my FI system for a few months now but I have never been able to cure the fuel line too close to exhaust issue caused by me wanting to mount the pump on the inside of the frame. Now revisiting my mounting, I am wondering if I can get rid of the metal box that I think is a fuel flow sensor of some kind just downstream of the main outlet from the fuel tank. If I can ignore this sensor thing I can much more easily mount the pump further upstream and route my fuel line away from the hot, oppressive exhaust. Thank you for any info/help!
