Exhaust shop FAIL

Post by babywag »

So I brought my '90 in to have them add a second o2 bung to relocate my wbo2 sensor.

Came home and I tried to screw in the wbo2...hmmm it won't thread???

Here is why
Image

Dude did a piss-poor job of aligning the bung w/ the hole he drilled.
Seriously?

So I dug out the dremel and opened up the hole.

What a joke. What would you do...I called them and let 'em know I wasn't happy.
They said to bring it back, but I didn't have the time w/ the kids and all and they're closed weekends.

What would you ask, I'm thinking give me the $ back they charged on the labor.

I have a scrap O2 sensor that I use to align the bung with the hole.

I'd be getting all my money back.

I would only ask for a percentage of the money back. If you had to do the whole job over yourself, then everything. But since all you had to do was clean up the whole, I would ask for part of it.
