Hey,
Having done a TBI install once does not make me an expert. Need some advice if possible.
1. Do you have to have an Edelbrock intake to install TBI or is OEM ok?
2. Does the cam have to be changed?
3. Do you have to change the cam if you swap to a Performer intake?
Thanks!

X2. No need to change cam and your OEM intake is fine.
More info on DIY TBI on my website, too.

You just want to ensure you know what cam you are running.

You need an adapter to go from 3 screw, 2 bore GM TBI to whatever manifold you have.
My never-rebuilt 360 with stock cam provides enough vacuum signal to support TBI.
Guessing a performer intake will probably help some without a cam but no experience with that.
