Going thru the firewall

Post by Grand_Wag_85 »

Where did you guys run your wires thru the firewall on your tbi setups? Use an existing hole or drill a new one and if so what size?

I plan on mounting the computer up in the dead zone in the right of the dash.

There is also an oval shaped hole on the left hand side, below the steering column. Two screws and it's off. You can thread the connectors through the hole easily.

I'll take a look, that may be the clutch linkage hole but I'm not sure. I have a manual trans.

Babywag, what did you use for a grommet?

Stock one that came w/harness 90's GM van....factory XJ grommet on '88 GW.
Summit sells a nifty multisize one by daystar? If I had to buy one that's probably what I'd use?
