Stock 5.3 intake to hood clearance?

Is there a problem with running a stock 5.3 intake in our fsj?

Nope, but it depends on which motor mounts you use

I used JeepinPete's mounts, and the only issue was the snap-on cover. Once that was removed, 5.3 intake cleared with no issue.

Just put the hood back on mine, the 04 engine cover fits with no issues with the novak mounts.
