RPM's spiked at 5,ooo and injector load at 13,ooo% among others.

At 13,ooo% this thing should be in orbit!

#'s like these.

I might have picked up a bug from somewhere trying to try different definition files. Been working all night to get my computer back online.

Gonna give it another shot this weekend, the crash burned up my whole day.

Something is not right for it to be saying this, as its literally impossible for them to be over 100%. Unless this is just the software saying it wants them at that level, in which case you would need a massive vacuum leak.

Hate computer problems…they are the worst.

.xdf & .adf files are simply formatted text files, that allow TunerPro to display data from .bin & the ALDL data stream in easy to read formats for people.
Not sure how you could get a virus(bug) from them??

You probably just need to configure TunerPro properly, and/or maybe change a setting on AutoProm?
How do you have TunerPro configured?
In TunerPro go to Tools - Preferences - Data Acq./Emulation….what does it say for interface type?

looks like a lot of those numbers are pegged. That could mean that the data is being read as all 1's. This happens with a bad hookup on the serial cable. You sure it is grounded properly and the correct pin is connected to the ALDL transmit data line? Typically incorrect baud doesn't result in all 1's but ... check the baud rate anyway.

IIWY I would also consider opening up a serial terminal program like RealTerm or Termite and seeing what kind of data is coming across. I believe RealTerm can display the data being received in hexidecimal. I'd *love* to see that output because it would go a long way to troubleshooting this utter weirdness :)

You couldn't get a virus from xdf/adf. That is virtually impossible. I can say this with confidence because I do computer security for a living -- since 1997 -- and I have a rather in-depth knowledge of computers from transistors to digital logic to firmware to OS to application software... despite occasionally looking really moronic by loading the wrong bin file...

Of course... you may well have gotten a virus somewhere along the way.

Or... if something is really wonky with the serial driver, serial connection, etc., resulting in really weird data coming in, it is conceivable it could cause crashes and such.

Again is it probably just not configured correctly. TunerPro needs to be setup properly, it isn't going to just work out of the box so to speak.
For a simple ALDL cable it may, but he needs to tell it he's using an AutoProm the settings for data acquisition need to be correct.

I'll give those programs a shot.

Whatever got into my computer was pretty nasty. Whatever it was is gone now. Most likely from other stuff I was downloading around the same time.

I believe I have those in there right but I'll do a screenshot just to double check.

For kicks and giggles I plugged in my other 7747 ECM into the car and now most everything is not pegged.

Haven't changed any settings, just swapped in a stock unmodified 7747

Looks ok. Have error code 43.
Are you running the knock sensor & esc module or no?

Now go drive it for 20-30 minuted and get some useful data.

Correct, code 43 for the bone stock 7747 running the stock 350 tbi tune. No knock sensor installed.

I believe the error with the other ecm is due to me bending 2 pins on the 2732a. Going to see if it can be fixed.

I'm gonna convert everything over to the EEPRIM chips, like next weekish.

Ah, well you already have 258 bin burn that to a modified eeprom and plug that in.

Easy peasy, no point in running stock .bin

Also you have an Autoprom, again no reason to run stock bin
