RockLaurence NP229 Twin Stick Shifter

Post by rocklaurence »

THIS IS A SHIFTER BUILT TO REPLACE THE PROBLEMATIC VACUUM SHIFT SYSTEM INSTALLED ON ALL THE NP229S. THE ITEM IS EASILY INSTALLED AND IS BUILT TO TAKE WHATEVER ABUSE YOU CAN DISH OUT. IT PROVIDES A POSITIVE MECHANICAL LINK TO THE TRANSFER CASE--NO MORE GUESSING WEATHER YOUR CASE WILL SHIFT INTO 4WD OR LOW RANGE! This kit doesn't replace the CAD system on the front axle found on some '84-'85 vehicles--only the shift system on the transfer case.

Are you still making this? I see your website shows it is out of stock.
1972 Dodge Demon with a 451" stroker Big Block
1986 Jeep Grand Wagoneer AMC 360" AKA Golddigger- SOLD
2003 Dodge Crewcab 2500 Cummins longbed 4x4
2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee V-6 full time 4x4

Alternators, winches, 4x4, guns all have the same issue if you don't have any knowledge of them usually bad things will happen. Serehill

I have a functioning shop now and will be building more shifters soon. I also plan on developing a 57" front spring lift with a rear shackle relocation. The new spring setup will ride softer and provide more flex for the FSJs.
