For what it's worth, your PM worked...outbox is a deceiving term on this forum. I just means the other person hasn't read it yet ;-)

Good Morning, well I have a 68 Wagoneer with the Rino grill and would like parts, ideas and knowledge so I can order a 4 head light HID system, Harnesss But I'm just starting to get all the parts together to I could do a complete re-wiring at one time! I'm also trying to find Light Switch and Wiper Switch with matching knobs?

Just for fun I bought one of the Chinese knock off to compare. There are 2 different Kinds. I made up y mind if they were compatible I would quit making these I have built over 400 of these now in more than 30 configurations. Both were inferior & without warrantee or any tech support. I'll keep on making mine because them Chinese knock offs are exactly what I expected. I'll be making mine for a while yet.
So for the ones that have asked.
The relays do not compare with mine.
The relay plugs do not compare. My wire is a size bigger & all high amperage connections are soldered.
Mine are also taped with electrical tape instead of the plastic crap that disintegrates in 6 months.
you can pull the wires right out from under the crimped light sockets & relay sockets.
the crimp lugs are not of good quality.
Their unit is fused mine have a automatic resetting breaker.
It's true you get what you pay for. getting what you don't pay for make the difference.
there's a few other differences but these are the ones that will control life & function.
Thanks to everyone that has bought on. I never was in them for the money.
In the over 400 I've built I've warrantied one & when it was returned it was clear it wasn't a defect that cause the issue. so that's pretty a good record.
I'll put mine up against any of them. Even the 125 dollar ones.

Some free ad.... I ordered my headlight kit thru the mothership PM.... was not aware of the vendor section on this board.

Very well made and brilliant design -could not resist the pun- .... I did my own 15 years ago for the 74 in one afternoon after a few run to the local store... but this kit is far more superior : 1hr install including the removal and install of the grille on the 85, much better than my home brew kit... because there is nothing to cut... only disconnect and reconnect. I did not have the chance to use the headlight while driving in the dark, until this evening, they are a lot more powerful than the GF german import.... and I do not have H4, only the xtravision sealed beam...

When i originally did mine I had Sylvania Halogens & they were bright as I had ever seen. I've updated to HIDS now But can tell you they can improve lighting & save your headlight & dimmer switch.

anyone have an install thread with pics, especially how you ran the fog light wiring and switch? Yes.. I'm a visual learner.. getting around to installing mine and trying to reach into all sorts of spaces.
found page 2 & 3 on ifsja have the pics, with the exception I'm 3 relays for the fog light option -

where does the gray wire coming off the relay connect to?

Also, I have a circuit breaker vice a fuse, does the red wire coming off the circuit breaker go direct to battery positive?

Don't have the fog light option. But these kits are pretty easy. Lay it out and it kind of installs itself.

Thanks! I got the harness laid in, found a few extra tools down between the grill and radiator from an earlier owner!
Well, last one to figure out is the gray wire coming off what I assume is the fog/aux relay circuit. Going to test it but might be power and then the fog lamp has a ground wire.

Serehill, quick question. How flexible is the location of the relays? I have a 5.3L in mine and would like to keep all the relays together. Would I be able to move them very far? I can't tell exactly where they are in the pics, but my relay bank is near the bulk head connector on the firewall?

Also are you relay sockets the ones that snap together?
