April 26 NorCal Meetup

Post by Renodemona »

Hey gang! It was such a nice time down there last October, we should do another event in the spring. I have a couple weekends in April free. What do you all think? Could be Sonora (those garlic fries were awesome) or Auburn (Old Town Pizza makes a great pie) or I'll even host up here in Reno! Sunday April 19 or possibly the 12th. Let me know, chime in ideas, etc. It will also get me a definite end date to get my Jeep going. SO help me out? (and meet up with some Jeepers too)

Would love another meet up!

Reno would be fun, although it would be in my JK. I don't trust my J10 going that far.

Another option would be Murphys which is a great little town. They have a few great restaurants, and also have some other activities in the area. I think Jackson would be a good middle area, but I have not been there in ages. So not sure what all is there as far as food and things to do.

I am planning on getting back down there in April/May to rescue my Jeep from RV Storage. If the timing is right, I'd love to meet up again.

Glad there is going to be a meet up close enough that I might be able to make it.
Reno would be out for me just to far for my Jeep right now.

We are in. Location not an issue. I am planning to go to Hollister for Molina Ghost Run May 22 so I have to have the Chero ready. Since the Dr wants to repair my eye asap I am loosing a couple of weeks but it will be done. Right now any place and day are open in April. Mitch

Would people be willing to have the meetup in Reno be a "let's put the 401 in my Cherokee" event? Willing and able to host with pizza and beverages at my place with a nice dinner after getting the big V-8 in. Also have rock of the classic nature to listen to.

I'm in if the wag is running, this side of the CalNeva DMZ,
wouldn't be right to show up to a jeep event in the Impala.

I should be working in Sonora by then.
I can make it but not in my FSJ I'll have to drive the Yota. That just not right!!! I better get off of here and get to work on it.

Later,loner

Picking my Wife up from the airport that day, so I would not be able to go. Although that doesn't mean it can't be that day.

Really Like to get this together for an Auburn meetup on the 26th. Open to other locations, but would like to get some commits for the 26th date at least. Auburn has some great food venues and a couple easy trails just up the road if we want to do that too, or scenic drive down by Folsom used-to-be-a lake.

I am still a maybe at this point, I get a faint whiff of fuel smell after driving my truck, and I have not been able to track it down yet. Although I could always driving the JK just to hang out. Although I am not sure how scenic Folsom Mud Puddle will be :P

Still not sure of my time line yet. Got weight restrictions release from eye doc so I can start putting stuff back together. Would definitely like to get together again.

I THINK I am free? The wedding isn't for another 2 weeks so I will likely be able to make the trip. Maybe drag the woman along
