For those in or around the Sacramento area heading down Sonora, I'll be rolling out mid-morning taking 99 south then east to Sonora. If you want to meet up somewhere and head down together let me know and we'll arrange a meet up spot. PM me if this is something you want to do and I'll give out my cell #.
If nothing falls off the jeep, I was thinking of taking the scenic route back through Jackson.
Looking forward to Saturday!

I had spoken with kenne from Concord who mentioned he was going to make the trip but I haven't heard from him lately.

Just as a quick note, the meetup location is a cell service dead zone (well, mostly). But if anybody wants my number just PM me.

Sorry you could not make it Coop.

We had fun, talked a lot, had lunch, then went over to the shop that Ed's J10 is in.

I forgot to get a photo of Rainmans wiggy. But here are the few I did take:

Drove by around 520, but I didn't see any FSJs. I was hoping I could catch the tail end of it.

The grey one is Ed's. We were over at the shop from 4:30 to about 6:30. Should have given you my cell number so you could have dropped by.

Was a great day trip down to Sonora to meet n greet!
Lots of show n tell, some good eats, ogling Ed's project J-Truck and just good conversation.
Kinda glad Jessica and I left when we did...
We took the wrong highway, ended up staying on 108 and came out to 99 at Salida.
Made it just out of Lodi when the main tank went dry. No problem, flip the switch wait a few moments then on we went. Until we ran out of fuel on the business 80 crosstown. Luckily we found a chevron station about 500 yards away.

I am glad we made the trip to meet some quality people. Not a JERK in the bunch except for me :geek:
My niece enjoyed herself and mentioned something that sounded like "You know, I kind of like these old big Jeeps".
Might have another FSJ Addict in the making.

Thanks Stuka for making this happen! :-bd

I totally missed this thread. :(

I guess it would not have mattered because I had a wedding this past Saturday anyway.

If you guys have another one of these, please let me know. Sonora is only a little under 2 hours away from me.

Maybe we should plan a little trip on Slick Rock one weekend.

When another one comes up, I will be sure to ping you.

I love Slick Rock, although I would much prefer to drive the JK on it. Coils have spoiled me :P
