Just wondering how many members are in the Reno/Carson City area.
I'm stationed down in Bridgeport, but always in Gville.
Just wondering how many are up for a potential meet an greet.

Ahh cool. I get by that area a few times a year, I am on the other side of Sonora Pass. Which is of course closed now for the winter.

Marn beat me to it. We get together several times a year for trail runs and meet ups. I love going down to Bodie so I'm usually down for a trip down that way.

I drove to mammoth airport yesterday,
Bodie is closed for now, but a few of my co works went up to lobdel lake off the 395 and had a blast.
just wish I had a bit more meat on my tires to go. I'm running Michelins ltx in 32 11.r15.
looking for something a bit more meatier

Are you wanting to go a bit bigger in the future? Throw 2-3" of lift on there with 33s, hard to get stuck anywhere and no fancy mods to do to the driveline or steering. I've got Hankooks, love em. I have Yokohama Geolandars on my little jeep, they've been good so far too. the new(er) T/A looks to be a good tire as well, just a little spendy.

I'm almost positive I have a lift
That's how green I am
I have plenty of clearance between the top of the tire an fender.
I'm still recovering from back fusion an it's a bit if a chore to climb up.
But I have though of going 33 been looking at Falken and okumos, but still unsure which way to go.
I guess I need a l I title more trail time

Yeah, I could not get over to that side anyway as the pass is closed till spring.

I am a big fan of Cooper tires. But the new Falken MT tires are pretty good.

I know what you mean especially since some of the best trails I've found so far are up on the 108.
that an since I'm frugal I am trying to pass on some extra parts that I've acquired for my chero, I would like to pass them along for free.

ie
wiring harness (fuse box and dash)
factory gauge cluster
gauge housing
random trim pieces

Getting back to the original question...
I am down after the first of the year. Day trip on a Saturday be something you'd be interested in? How close to G-ville are you? We can do breakfast and a quick trail down there. I like pizza. ;)

I'm actually in Coleville, Gville is about 30 min north from from me. I spend more time there than I do in Coleville.
I'm always down for a meet up, pizza always works

Looks like we're meeting up Saturday at the Round Table in Gardnerville at 1100 then down China Springs and back Leviation Mine Rd unless the river is up too high. Easy, dirt roads with some whoopty-whees and obstacles. Probably going to be some mud and/or snow. If its total crap we can always just eat more pizza and talk Jeeps.

the rains down here have left everything a big mess and is snowing where I work already.
but I'm always down for anything
