Many thanks to Rick Jones, aka SC/397 for the Invite!
For those that do not know much about Rick, he is a Master AMC Engine builder
Here are some pics that I took from the show:
I really enjoyed this blue Javelin
The owner of this awesome 1979 J10 Honcho is Scott.
I did not recall Scott's last name, but he has a Javelin and his wife drives a blue Wagoneer.
I am sure he is not a member of any FSJ forum.
His J10 gives me motivation to complete my own projects.
Scott mentioned to Larry Miller and I that this is the first time he has had it J10 away from home after an extensive frame of restoration.
While there are many that do not care for a Pig Nosed Grill, this has to be the best one I've ever seen and I liked it alot!
Scott told Larry and I that this rear bumper was a Chevy piece that he cut down and customized to fit his J10.
Looks OEM to me.
Rick's newest ride and he is looking to flip it.
1973 Hornet Coupe from New Mexico.
An original 304 V8 with an dealer installed A/C unit.
The A/C was aftermarket and not an AMC unit, but it looked super close to a OE AMC piece.
Rick told Tom, Larry and I he wanted $3500 for this Hornet.
Tom, Larry and I all agreed that if we had $3500, that we jump on deal.
Here is an under the hood shot Rick's wicked Scrambler:
Rick started it's 390 for us.
It's "Cold Natured" he told us, but sounded healthy to me.
