Rausch Creek 6-22-13

Post by BJT »

Any of you guys out there over the weekend? I saw three other FSJ's there! Only got a chance to talk to one of the owners but didn't get his name. Anyhow it was good to see some FSJ's out there mixing it up. It was the maiden voyage for mine up there and good old "Woody Buzzlightyear" performed awesome! My 6 year old daughter named it that and it was her first wheeling trip ever, she loved it!!!

I didn't make it there this year. All of my Power Wagon buddies were there. Did you see any of them on the trails?

Thanks. Looks like you guys has a good turnout. I like your bros truck8-)

The Power Wagon guys only had 5 this time. We had 15 last year, it was a great time. We'll have to hook up sometime and meet up there.

That was me you talked too. I kept kicking myself for not coming to find you. The way you explained your truck was what I was really thinking of doing when I first started with mine but I chumped out and went 4" lift to get rolling sooner. We were actually there for a couple that has a few fsj, they got married and had the reception at Rausch. They are on ifsja but I'm not sure about here.

I'm so glad you saw this thread James! It was great chatting with you while we were in line. I'm going to put a thread up before our next trip up to Rausch so maybe some more FSJ's will show up. If you have any pics from Saturday please post the up in here, I'd love to see some sots of your rig in action.

I personally didnt take any pics. Hopefully I see some of everyone else's. I definitely want to go back but I think I'll wait till it cools off. Too damn hot for my wife and kid with no a/c. We camped over and did more trails Sunday.
I did see the power wagon guys.

That's cool. I've been going since 2010, usually every spring and fall. I'd love to take my new to me '77 J-20. Let us know when you go again.

Hey, unfortunately I saw your white Wag on the trailer as you were leaving. Really wish I would have seen you sooner as I definately would have talked to you. Looks like an awesome rig. We did pass by the Power Wagon group and I caught mayself drooling a bit. Saw the big ch*vies too. Nice to see other full-size vehicles out there. For the record, my new wife and I had the blue Wag (mine) and the red Wag (hers). Hope to see you out there again.

I'll post up some pics when I get to work on Monday.
