Yeah, it's one of the "sticker edition" Jeeps. Take an ordinary Wrangler (sport, sahara, rubicon) maybe play with the option list a little, and slap a few cosmetic changes on it (like seat covers and stickers) and jack the price way up. It's brilliant marking on the part of Fiat-Chrysler.

Is it even capable of doing blackbear? It looks stock...

I think the hood sticker is cool. It would look good on a black rubicon.

If people do blackbare in stock SUVs, a wrangler would not break a sweat. Every 4wd Wrangler is trail rated to do the rubicon, and I know plenty of people that have taken a bone stock wrangler through it. Skid plates are a bit worse for wear, but they make it.

And yeah, lots of "sticker edition" wranglers, but people like them. So why not offer them?

For some reason I thought black bear required a little more than stock. Good to know.

It does need "a little more". That's why a Jeep has no problems doing it. :-bd

Latest episode of Dirt Everyday takes a stock Renegade over Black Bear. It had trouble in one spot, and required a guy to push it. But it made it!

I have run black bear a few times. Frankly, in the switch backs, you are better off with a stockish jeep with smaller tires. My big old Cherokee will need to do a few multipoint turns. I rode with Casey and if I remember correctly he was able to take each one without having to back up in his mildly lifted wagoneer. If he did it was three point and no drama. But he has skillz. I remember the look on young Caesars face when he did a multipoint turn in his XJ and then Casey did it without having to back up. I caught a picture of it but I don't think I have it anymore...

If I can find the hood decal, I would put it on my Cherk.

It will be available on mopar.com once the upfit kit becomes available. All the "sticker" packages are available from them directly. And they are actually priced pretty decently.

A stock Wrangler should have no issues on Black Bear. There's a fellow with a book somewhere that did it successfully with a LWB 70's/80's Suburban. He had to back down the switch backs but he did it.

I think J2sax did BB with a stockish 2DR XJ.

yeah, they are something like that. For a while they had a site where you could pretty much purchase any location you wanted. The mall jokes were priceless.

I sure hope a wrangler can do it, if a freaking renegade can.

A stock 74 Cherokee will do it on some bald minivan 235's too.

The map decal? That is funny stuff. You can virtually go there on your hood...

I don't need no stinkin' hood decal map because I have been there in person. :P
