Monsoons started yesterday. Nice 64* in Mancos right now after some monsoon showers and wind. 2 days ago it was over 100*.

Sitting at work thinking about work, but not getting much done. Actually don't have much to finish. My trip prep got less since my left hand isn't good for much right now. So no washing the Jeep except for the bugs. Still have to mow the grass (not a lawn) since it's up to my knees. Stupid rain. Then go to Wally World, Home Depot, King Soopers. Pack Jeep, hook up and leave Sunday.

I'm sitting at work with basically nothing to do for the day. I have to do a couple of things on Saturday, like trying to figure out if I can squeeze everything into my Wrangler or not. But I'll be fully packed and ready to go by tomorrow night.

I'm going to be heading out Sunday as well. I'm planning on taking 285 out of the metro area all the way to Poncha Springs, then 50 over to Montrose, then 550 down to the KOA. You up for a caravan?

Maybe. Understand I will be going slower and more than likely have to stop on Kenosha and Monarch to let the engine cool down 'cause I'm dragging the trailer with me.

What time were you heading out?

I was thinking day time. Hadn't gotten much further in my planning. My only real goal is to be there before dark so I can set up my campsite.

And I'm driving a lifted Wrangler full of gear, not to mention all the bolt on parts making it heavy so I'm not what you would call fast going through the mountains myself.
