Safe travels and arrivals to all. Anyone stranded on 285 or the I-70 corridor west of golden and east of the Eisenhower tunnel is more than welcome to call or text me for help or parts.

Best to just show up at the KOA around 8 or 9am. Or a little earlier. Trails, times and who is doing what is pretty much all handled on the fly and or the night before.

Is there a good paper map of the area I can buy anywhere? Just in case my digitals let me down...

Has anyone done a day trip to moab during the invasion? Being within three hours makes it really tempting to make a pilgrimage back... If the jeeps doing well and the weather is favorable I might go do the arches thing while you guys run the harder Ouray trails.

Hey guys, does anyone have an Invasion sticker from 2008 and/or 2011 that you would sell me? Those are the only two I am missing from the Jeep. LMK!

I would if I had time, especially if you wanted to run Hells Revenge (my fav trail in moab).

BTW - there are no 'hard' trails in Ouray. Stock FSJ's can run 'em all.

Being a newbie, I was hearing tales of black bear road and shuddering ( multiple switchbacks w/barely any room for an FSJ? Yikes !

Speaking of black bear... I'd like to do that on Friday or Saturday. Anyone else down for it?

Bad times in the neighborhood for me friends. My parents have stopped coming up with logically sound reasons for me not to drive the jeep and have resorted to sabotage. My battery is gone and my tires are missing all of their air on account of the holes in the sidewalls.

Not only that but I've had cancelations from both of my friends who were supposed to come to Ouray with me. So my expenses have doubled if not tripled.

So I'm broke, alone, and FSJ less. But as someone wiser than me once said. "It's better to be in Ouray crying about your jeep than be at home crying about not going to Ouray."

So I'll be showing up in a battered and bruised gmc Sierra. Still bringing all of my tools and spares to help any of my fellow jeepers and I look forward to at least getting to meet and wrench with you all.

ETA by 9:45 pm tonight.

This is just Bizarre behavior over the years I have made trips my folks weren't real happy about, but they have never stooped to out right sabotage!

I might change my reservation and convoy with Blake tomorrow. My battery has been located and tires are being figured out as we speak.

So I might be in my jeep, and I might be showing up today. I dunno.
