Broken trackbar mount! maybe she is too big of a girl to play on the rocky switchbacks. i need to give a big thanks to the guys on the trail with a welder so i could limp back to ouray. and i give an even biger thanks to the guys at Atlas Mining and Manufacturing in ouray for fixing it so i could drive back to denver.

Great shots. Trac-bars take a LOT of stress. I would in vest in one that welds to both sides of the frame with gussets.

They take A LOT of stress when your tire goes a foot in the air and slams back down as you slide backwards off a rock :P .

Well, yeah that would add to it. But the way yours is mounted is similar to the factory one on coil sprung Jeeps, and they are prone to cracking. Seems to happen all the time on the rubicon. People go to turn while their tire is against a rock, and something has to give, its typically that. Sometimes its the sector shaft.

Nice pics . Good to see that truck of yours again. It's grown up alot since last time I saw it.
