Not sure anyone has taken me serious for 12 or 13 years. Maybe longer... I wouldn't know how to act if they did unless I was hit in the head with a 2 ton floor jack. :P

It's going to be 112 today in Phoenix. Ouray is sounding pretty good right now.

Howdy. Sad to say I have a cabin available, Sunday night-Friday night, if anyone is interested. I don't remember the number, but it IS one of the cabins right near the FSJ camp- at the corner there by the foot bridge and the bathrooms. PM me if you are interested. If no takers I will keep it until the week before and then contact Dave. Hope you all enjoy and we are very sad we will be missing this year :( July just won't be the same this year without packing up a bunch of stuff and a heap of shirts and heading to Ouray. Be sure and drink a little agave for us!

Spot 49 Reserved 16-21 July

:( About a week ago I faced the reality that the truck wasn't going to be finished in time to make Ouray 2013.

I wanted to give the people on each side of my spot a chance to put a friend in it before I posted it up for grabs, so I PM'd them. Another person got wind of it and PM'd me possible interest and I told them they are next in line.

Yesterday I heard from both the neighbors, and the other person, and none of them need it.

Drop me a PM if you want spot 49. It's available from the 16th to the 21st. I'll handle it "first come, first served".

I will keep reserving a spot every year that the Ouray trip is held with the assumption that ONE OF THESE YEARS the truck will be finished and I can make it. :-bd

You all have fun, be safe, and drink a Fresca for me.

Resbum, my outbox is holding messages but I just replied to you that I will be taking SVO42/Riverrat's camping site (not their cabin). So your spot is open. Thanks for giving me first dibs on it.

Thanks will e. Our messages were literally passing eachother in cyberspace. Too weird. I answered your PM and edited my above post.

Spot 49 is available this very moment to anyone who wants it. I have it reserved from the 16th to the 21st.

You all have a great time. I will make it one of these years.

I sure hope that Ouray keeps going. It's always been my plan/dream for me and junior to head to it once the Jeep is road worthy. At the rate I'm moving on the thing that should be sometime around 2020 or so :D
