Hey, pick up my shirt for me would ya?

I had hopes that I would get the Jeep back today and I was going to head up tomorrow in the sport trac. But the Jeep won't be ready till tomorrow or Wed at the earliest. They are waiting on a new pinion gear.

So have fun my friends. I will be there next year and I think I am going to just 'go for it' and bring the wife with me. I need someone to post the dates once you know and I will reserve a spot. I was really looking forward to getting up there this year. Goodness knows the weather here in Phoenix is worth leaving.
Will do Mike.

I am in Montrose but did not make it to Ouray today due to some issues along the way... all good now!

Does anyone need me to pick up anything in Montrose before I head down tomorrow? PM me or email me (or call cell on "List").

What time will a run begin and where are we headed?

See you SOON!

We're not going to make it this year. We were working hard to get to get everything ready and just ran out of time. Hope everyone has a great time!

Not sure where all they were heading to. Imogene is my best guess from what I heard an hour before they left. I also heard talk of a sunnyside ride also.
Rudy and I are just chilling at the hut, bellies full of pancakes. Later we are going shopping.

I believe there will be plenty of dogs and burgers left.

Well, my Jeep is still not done. The ARB for the front axle has thin gears. These are hard to find for 4.56 reverse cut. So the shop offered to use a Yukon Zip, brand new gears and a really good trade in for the ARB. Waiting for the parts but I am supposed to get it back tomorrow. The front axle will be basically new with new Yukon, install kit, gears, outers, bearings, brakes, etc. I swung by today and saw the ARB that they pulled from it. I think in the long run I am going to be better off...

So how's the wheel'n and weather my friends? I am so wishing I was there this year. Tonight is the big campfire night. I would appreciate it if you would all raise your glasses for me! I miss you guys and really wish I could have made it.

Wishing safe travels for everyone.

I know its a little late but my dad and I will be there tomorrow morning in Yepa (his 78 401 wag). I was supposed to he there today but got caught up with a major project at work. My dad was supposed to be there Tuesday but his boss scheduled a mandatory meeting that messed him up. We thought we were going to be SOL but fortunately we both managed to score tomorrow off. See you guys tomorrow! Also, F&K, you guys going to be there tomorrow or do we have to chase you all the way to Mancos? Because we will if we have too! :D

Whats the details on the raffle? Can we still get tickets? What time? If my wife and son ever wake up we are gonna head that way.

I hope everyone is having or have had a safe trip home. I have heard from a few. Ryan got a 2 row radiator from Jubilee and made it home overheating. Cherokee Jim and his crew got home just an hour or two ago. Tad, Em and Bob got back yesterday. Bryan and BethAnn got home last night. Little Em and Jackie got home weee hours this morning. Heard from Jerry as he and Sandy passed through Dolores and was going to stay in Farmington last night. Ronnie had to leave the OJ Bronco along the way and will be going back for it soon. It was great to see everyone and meet a few new people. I had a great time. We raised $850 for Ouray Mountain Rescue on the raffle and t-shirt sales!!! :-bd Tad and Bob were a great help in organizing the mass un-organization.

I came home a day early to get a Cherokee sent off to Texas. The plan was to go back to Ouray but it was a long day and was 99 while we loaded the Cherk. Then I found one of our cats had a severe injury and had to go into emergency mode (not Edrive ;) ) to get her in the vet hospital. She had a nasty gash in her belly. A lot of clean up, 16 stitches and 24 hours later she was able to come home. There are some folks I didn't say good-bye too. For that I am sorry. We'll have to double up the greetings next time around. :)

Ride On
