I am bringing an SWR meter (CB antenna adjustment)

Post by will e »

I will have a borrowed swr meter if anyone wants to adjust/test their antenna for best transmit. It's a fairly simple process and not too time consuming. The open area in the middle of the KOA is actually not a bad spot. So look for me and we will get it done.

It is YOUR responsibility to know how your antenna adjusts. Some have nuts that locks them, others set bolts, etc. The key to adjusting the antenna is making it slightly longer/shorter. If you don't know how to adjust yours all we can do is test how efficient it is. I can help try to figure out how but better if you know before you show up. (some use a very small allen wrench)
