I did a really nice little run through Box Canyon here in Arizona today. There was a light mist/rain. It reminded me of Ouray. I am really looking forward to being back this year.

I am hoping I can do some of these with you one of these days.

Looks like we'll make it again this year. Staying in Ouray, so we'll head out to the KOA for group events. Probably 2 FSJs coming in our group. Looking forward to it. See you then.
FWIW... I am hoping I can come. Not sure if the wife would be interested but maybe she will let me borrow the waggy to come. I just want to hang out with fellow FSJ nuts and see other folks rigs.

Totally! In 2004 I went for the first time and without a running FSJ I showed up in my Buick. In 2014 my lady was pregnant so bouncing around in the J-10 seemed like a dumb idea so we went in the trailhawk. Last year the only way I could go was with the baby so it was the trailhawk again.
Let me put it this way; bringing an FSJ fuels your cred, but just being there feeds your soul.
79 J-10 (Honcho Mucho) KE0LSU
304/Performance Fuel Injection TBI/MTA1/SP2P/Magnum rockers
T18/D20/D44s&4.10s/33" Mud Claws
Grizzly Locker Rear
4" front spring drop, 5" rear shackle flip
Chevy style HEI (ECM controlled)
Dolphin "Shark" gauges in a fancy homemade oak bezel
3/4 resto, rotting faster than I've been fixing it.

So true! I sported a Sportrac in 2015 because I brought the better half with me. She's joining me again this year but I am going to trailer the FSJ like I did last year. She can use the tow rig to go into town and such on days she doesn't join us on the trail rides. (She can only take so much bouncing). So when she does join us I will probably air down more than usual to help with the bouncing. This means a short period of airing up at the end of the trail but it shouldn't take too long, probably air up from 12lbs to 20 unless we are all the way to Silverton and then go with 25 or 30. I am in the middle of upgrading my system so I shouldn't hold up the group too long.
Alright, I've got one running FSJ. And an engine for the non running one. And a transmission for the non moving (in intended ways one) one. So I think I'm safe to tell my boss which days I need off and make a reservation tomorrow.
I think I'll shoot for somewhere near 46-48. I'll let you all know how it goes.
