Less than 36 hours until we head west! Shooting for 8 am departure Saturday and driving around 10 hours to Limon. We have to work tomorrow then it will be a busy night with last minute packing and loading most everything in the Jeep. Tonight I did a mini road trip and dropped off our dogs with dog-grandma! Came home through a crazy rain storm and lightning show. Really looking forward to getting my altitude adjustment!

Zippidy-doo-dah, zippidy -(moogly)- A! Just got the go-ahead from my wife. Long story short, we reserved our site while leaving Ouray last year. Her stupid cousin decided to get married that same week in April. I've never met the dude so I was like " so what? First takes precedence.". At the same time, I'm swamped with school! So going to some made up place in Kentucky (Paducah) that only exists in metaphor doesn't register, but I can still go fingerstomp my laptop at the cafe in Ouray! See you guys Tuesday night!

Guess I'll throw this here? Since I know many of y'all are cooking stuff, does anyone need me to bring any big pots/pans? I have a few that are mess hall/field kitchen size. I have to go to storage at least once more to load the waggy, I could grab em if anyone foresees a need??

We are just about 9 hours until wheels to the pavement! Finishing up what I can do for tonight, packing coolers in the morning and on the road! Kansas and Eastern Colorado tomorrow, pretty uneventful and anti-climactic. Sunday will be our Funday! Mountains and the nice stretch of our trip, probably pulling in to camp around 5.Bedtime soon.

Everyone be safe and good travels. Do not rush in the rain.

Yeah, I have a midterm on Monday and I final the week I get back. Fortunately it's chemistry and Solidworks so I can do my studying and homework through WiFi in Ouray.

I did call today just to verify my reservation! I can't wait to be there!
