Yes I am 100% sure its a AX15, I built it myself. I would not advertise a AX5 as a AX15.
It started out its life behind a 2.5 in a dakota, was also 2wd. I rebuilt it and installed a jeep 4wd mainshaft and tailhousing. Remember, AX5's have a cast iron mid plate, the AX15 has a aluminum one.
Were the synchros in the 4L replaced and other wear parts? Can you find me a shifter & fork for it and does it have the 23 spline rear output/10 spline input? I'm going to replace my T177 with an AX15 or NV3550. I can hunt down these parts (bell) but you probly have access to them already. I would need it shipped to 33812
Yes, the mainshaft and countershaft bearings were replaced and all 5 syncros. Also the input and output seals. The output is 23 spline and input is 1-1/8 10 spline with a .750 pilot tip. I have a shifter stick from a dakota I could include. It wouldnt work in a YJ, XJ, or TJ, but possiably might work in a FSJ. No guarentees it would. I however do not have a clutch fork or bellhousing. You should be able to find these on ebay.
As far as shipping, I really have no idea on how to ship something this big and heavy. Plus shiping may be kinda steep.
