As much as I appreciate the mods and how they keep on top of the forum the new style is the worst of all the forums I am on. Colors are very hard on the eyes and the fact that there is so much wasted space on the sides is ridiculous. And zooming in is not a solution for it.... Maybe we could get some optional styles in the future?

Yes there will be other styles available. Trust me I GREATLY prefer the darker colors. So please bear with me as I work things out :)

I don't mind the new look etc. I miss the View Unread Posts link at the bottom of each page, but I'll adapt.
Your effort is appreciated Stuka!

There is the little arrow that sends you quickly to the top in the lower right corner. But I will add that menu when I get a chance.

While there were a few (maybe many) that did not it, I very much enjoy the default theme before the upgrade.
I dunno what it was called, but if that theme can be a choice when you go to work themes for this new upgrade, I would be most appreciative.

LMAO, Seeing all these posts about liking the dark colors makes me wonder how many others gave up IFSJA for the Network just because we could see it better...

I know you will! Sorry that came out harsher than I meant it to be. This is still my favorite site! :)

Have not had time honestly. Its not anywhere close to as simple as carnuck's says it is. Every single page type (there are a handful of them) have to be changed. And if I just just the background to dark, the black text would not be very readable ;) So really all colors have to be changed, a lot of icons have to be changed, etc. I do have a long weekend this weekend so hopefully will get time to at least get one out for testing.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Can't say it enough. This board has been a tremendous resource for me. And it keeps getting better. I really appreciate your efforts on our behalf.

I never said it was simple? I linked to a post someone made on the PHBB board about a plug in. PS: It looks better on my laptop now.
