If I can justify swapping in this drivetrain into a perfectly good running rig...you can maybe justify buying it.
Old cool car with modern technology.

I know they are not complete, but I am just getting the hang of Youtube and uploading videos. For some reason, I cannot upload a long video showing the entire rig.

In case anyone is wondering...the fluid and rag under the front of the rig is from me changing the upper radiator hose to a better fitting one. So some coolant spilled...I figured somebody would notice and have something to say. I like to wipe up as best as I can due to a stray cat that lives around my house...don't want him to drink this stuff.

Also, since the original posted pics, the front seats have been replaced and the master cylinder replaced and brakes completely flushed. Also removed heater and AC.

Hi All!
This rig is back on the market! I had decided to keep it from when I had initially posted it years ago. I have done a lot to it and have had a ton of fun in it and will definitely miss it! I am at a different phase in life now and am ready to see this beauty go to someone who will enjoy her and take care of her as I would. The new price is $26k. Located in West Los Angeles, CA. I'll post pics as soon as I figure how I did it before. In the meantime, fell free to email me at supergeess@msn.com for more details and pics. Here are the details:

1977 Jeep Cherokee Chief S widetrack. Very clean in and out. Pretty rare. Tan/ tan.
-Swapped in a 2005 GMC Denali 6.0 Vortec/LS engine with new catalytic converters and new O2 sensors.
-4L60E transmission, NP241C tranfer case with SYE from JB Conversions with clocking ring so transfer case does not hang below frame rails.
-New water pump and thermostat.
-New PRC aluminum radiator (for LS swap), new Derale electric fan with aluminum shroud, Dakota Digital fan controller interfaced with DD dash, BJs Offroad aluminum overflow tank, new hoses.
-New Earl's external engine and transmission oil coolers with stainless braided lines with AN fittings.
-I replaced head gaskets and intake manifold gaskets prior to install and replaced head bolts...did these only because engine was out of vehicle and I wanted everything clean and new.
-Axles: Fully rebuilt CUCV Dana 60 front and Corporate 14 bolt full float rear with 4.56 gears. Front and rear disc brakes. All brand new calipers, pads, rotors, and hardware. Cross over high steer arms. Stainless steel brake lines. Premium front locking hubs.
-FOX 2.0 shocks in rear and New Bilstein aluminum shocks up front.
-Suburban floor mounted transfer case shifter.
-Hydroboost brake system and steel braided hoses.
-New Chevy Suburban fuel tank with in tank fuel injection (new pump). Stainless steel fuel lines.
-ARP header studs.
-Custom 3" Flowmaster exhaust.
-New driveshafts and Spicer 1350 u joints all around.
-17" wheels with 37" Toyo Open Country RT tires with 90% tread, plus a matching spare.
-New Dakota Digital gauge cluster.
-New H4 headlights.
-Corbeau sport seats up front.
-Ford Expedition center console with large cup holders.
-Stock rear folding bench seat in great shape. Interior is complete and colors match.
-Rhino/ Gladiator front grill in excellent shape.
-Manual rear window conversion...OEM parts!
-Wipers work.
-AM/FM, MP3 player, CD radio.
-New front and rear diff seals and fluid. New spark plugs and all new fluids.
-Full custom 6 point roll cage, rock sliders, front and rear crawler bumpers with rear tire mount.
-Smittybuilt Defender roof rack.
-Smittybilt 9500 XRC winch...brand new!

As for engine swaps, this is done right! All quality parts. Engine harness and ECM tune professionally done (Wait4MePerformance). Comes with whatever stock parts I have laying around. Rust at rear fender flares (usual area). Entire floor has been lined with color matching Raptor U-POL bed lining. This rig is very fast, powerful and dependable. Fires right up and idles smooth and quiet! Will tow anything with the new 1 ton axles. Sit in traffic or cruise down the highway and not a worry in the world while everyone is giving you thumbs up. Drives perfectly straight. No wobble or pulling to one side. Registration up to date until October 2019. Email for more info. Attached videos are old and do not show all upgrades. Will consider full or partial trade for mid 2000 or newer diesel crew cab Chevy or Dodge pick-up truck, diesel Ford Excursion, or....? $26000
