In an effort to stay ahead of this unemployment disaster I find I have to make some difficult decisions. I've had this 79 Cherk for a few years and haven't had time to do anything to it. Since money goes further than my dreams, I'm going to see if anyone is interested.
79 wide Trac cherk was originally a 360/4speed rig. There is no drivetrain in it but there is a t18 in the back of preferred.
The body is pretty straight and almost zero rust. Some in the flares (not surprising) but I don't recall any real rust in the rest of the body. There is no carpet in it but it's been a while since I looked. I don't believe there was any in the floor pans at all. Rear tailgate is fugly as it previously had a swing out on it but had a bad repair job. It works fine and the manual window goes up and down fine. Windshield is cracked but the rest of the glass is fine. Dash pad is cracked but complete. There is also a (factory?) Roll bar that goes with the Jeep. The front grille got pooched in when I didn't pay attention backing up my trailer. I have a spare razor that can go as well.
The cherk has both the primary and secondary fuel tanks.
To go with the Jeep:
I have a running/driving 360/th400/Q-trac combo that came out of a running/driving 79 Cherk. Up to whoever buys it to decide if they want an auto or manual. Pedals are in the Jeep for manual but I have an auto brake assembly if you go that route.
While this is a project, I'm sure it could be put together pretty quick if one is motivated. Finding a good condition chief body is getting harder to do and while I hate to let it go, we need the money more.
I don't know how to price this as it is a project but will come with most of what it needs to make it a driver. I'm going to toss out a number of $3000.00. willing to negotiate and if I have extra stuff to sweeten the deal towards asking price, I'm flexible. Let me know folks. Clock is ticking before rent comes due. Thanks!

Willing to trailer it a little ways if it helps and provided the suburban doesn't blow up. Need the money since bills are coming.
I also have 4 new but older dated 35x12.50x17 mud tires. Two are BFG and the other two are... Cooper I think? Forgot who made them. Could add them to the pot if someone pays quickly.
