Part 2 of a four day Overlanding trip that included some fishing, kayaking, hiking and some great soaks in a nearby spring. Come join us on another adventure into the wilds of nearby Oregon.

It really is a neat area. All the road improvements you see were built in the 1860's for wagon trains coming in and out of the mining regions. It was a long dusty trail and this place must have been heaven to them. I read that it was a day trip down to the bottom, a day trip along the bottom, and a day to climb back out. Glad you liked the video, George.

Nice. At some point I will be heading back into the Steens and Christmas Valley area. Could be a meetup there. I post up trips in the Mountain section of this forum http://www.fsjnetwork.com/forum/viewtop ... 37&t=12193 .
And here on the Expedition Portal http://forum.expeditionportal.com/threa ... Adventures . You can follow up on some of our past trips there. Those trips were before I started the SW Idaho Overlanding on YouTube. I have other videos (you can find there), but they have copyright issues so they stay where they are till I can fix them and move them over.
