Finally took the 90 out, hacket gulch

Post by Cheapthrills »

So I've owned this jeep almost a year and took her out the first time today with family in tow.

So we ran hackett gulch and had a blast I was hesitant to go since my jeep doesn't flex but did great including the Water crossing (Platt river ) at about 40" deep... :D :fsj:

Unfortunately the videos and pics where lost some how.

Bummer on the photos. 40" would be over the hood on a stock waggy, pretty brave to ford that ;)

Good that you had fun!

It's not stock 31s and 4" lift but it was at about mid headlight and I entered up stream from the exit so it was pushing the passenger rear corner. I did scout the Watters with a fallen branch and wadded my course to make sure I could do it. And 40" inches was a guess considering tow rigs went befor me where on 42s and water was near top of tire.

Wish I could, starter wire shorted out and caused moderate fire while my wife was driving it today  :banghead: lots O burnt wires. She's ok so that's all that matters.

Ahh good plan, keep the wave off the front end. Sorry to hear about the fire, hope its not too much work to fix up.
