Peavine Peak 8/6/16

Post by Renodemona »

Headed up Peavine this morning with the good Dr. Nothing too crazy but some good views of the valleys. Discovered (not surprisingly) that I'm not getting enough transmission cooling. Pics!

When I was a kid we would roll up to the top on weekends and have a BBQ. Winter snow runs were always a hoot.
Is the turquoise pit still there on the east side?

Thanks for sharing.

I believe the pit is still there but there are a couple active claims near there that we saw. Well semi-active anyway. Plus a lot more junk than I remember.
Thank you for the compliment! Of course I was fighting some transmission issues and overheating most of the time so clearly I don't have everything dialed in perfectly yet.
