The photo in your second post of the gold 327 looks like it has chrome valve covers. I wonder if that was just for the brochure photo because I didn't think any of valves covers actually came chromed. Cool stuff you got there. Any pics of your super yet?

The valve covers on mine don't show having any sign of being painted gold. They also are not chrome but rather a galvanized finish. Unfortunately it was rebuilt in the 80's at around 100,000 miles and the engine block was painted Chevy orange. I will post some pictures really soon.

If you have Super Wagoneer stuff this would be a good place to post it. I haven't found a lot of this stuff in one place.
I'd love to do one of the center console supers some day. Does anyone know if the center console out of the jeep sterling commando would be the same as the wagoneer? They were a little more common and the shifters look identical.
