Welcome !
I am interested by the IKA trucks subject : Gladiators X, V, Super X, Super V and the later T80 and T1000.
By the way a lot more 4x2 with independent front suspension than in the US, and some interesting engines like in the Torino or your T1000
More Infos and pictures are welcome !

thanks boys, Mud89 you are totally right, the first generation of Jeep Gladiator by IKA was the V (half ton) and X(1 ton), the engine was the old and reliable Willys Super Hurricane inline six and the gear box was the Borg Warner 3 speed and the optional T18 one shift and independent front axle and Dana 44 in the rear (45/11= 4.09), since 1963 to 1964, when in Toledo, Ohio Kaiser-Jeep was finish the production of Jeep Tornado 230, this engine arrive to Cordoba, in IKA some items where modificated, specially oil leaks, to eqqipped the 65 Rambler Classic and Ambassador, the Willys Station Wagon whose name for our market was "Estanciera", and of course the Gladiator the version of Tornado for this Gladiators was Tornado Super Power 138 HP, so IKA add the adjetive "Super" to the models V and X ( now Super V and Super X) still 3 speed gearbox independent front axle and T18, in 1967 IKA have a new partner Renault, and now all the model of IKA have mechanical changes like a new version of Tornado now is the Interceptor 155HP and the new gear box ZF of 4 speed (3.54 in the first gear), and the new Razor grille, another change was the solid front axle in 4x4 version, also a new Diesel 4 cylinder was offered the Perkins, in 1972 Renault Argentina (IKA disappear) launch the T-1000 (my Bertha), Tornado again with option of 1 barrel carb (Carter RBS) and of course the Holley 2300, the 4x4 option was delete, and the perkins engine still offered, now the T-1000 can carry 5 quarter tons, the Dana 44 in the rear was upgraded and the grille is the "cheese grater" of the Wagoneer,1975 the T-1000 change the motor, now the Torino 233is on, probably 170hp, sadly the T-1000 die in 1977. pics:

Thanks a lot for the infos, i didn't know for the 5 quarter tons and Dana 44 upgrade and the end of the T1000. It's amazing that the Gladiator grille was changed by IKA before the change by Jeep in 70. Thanks also for the pics, i have also some IKA litteratures, they are difficult to find, most of them are on mercadolibre not on ebay.
Wondering also about the model numbers, is your model number "121" like on the service manual cover and do you have a serial number specific to the T1000 or common to all the production?
Remark : actually, some j-series with the Tornado were still produced in 1965 by Toledo, for domestic and export market at the beginning and then for the Export market only when the Tornado was replaced by the 232 AMC at the beginning of the '66 model year.

Thanks.
We noticed also the crewcabs or panel versions of the IKA trucks, wondering who were the manufacturers of these special bodies
Wondering also what could be the options on your T1000 or on a T80 ?

That 3rd pick down showing the wags on the left. Was that a Jeepster being assembled in the middle or a LLanero?

I figured out how to resize your photo on Imageshack. For some reason it wouldn't download correctly for me.
