***FREE...NOS Black Whitco Tonneau Cover...FREE***

Post by 1971J4000 »

I have recently acquired a 1976 original Whitco Jeep J200 J300 Tonneau Cover.

And interestingly, although white was a much more common color... this is one of the super rare black tops. NOS.

These are getting very hard to come by.

Anyway, here's the deal, I am looking for a Jeep Dumper Body in any condition that includes the hydraulics to make it work. This is for my 1971 J4000 with the long body.

If a Dumper cannot be located I would also consider a Whitco Convertible Topper but it would have to be in very good condition.

To "grease the wheel", whoever sends me a PM about where I can find one of these...

if I end up buying the one you were the 1st to send me a message about...

I will gift this beautiful Whitco NOS Tonneau Cover to you to express my gratitude.

Regards...

Here is my Gladiator (with an aftermarket tonneau cover)

This dumper body was targeted to be sold to landscapers, cemeteries and municipalities for light loads.
I think I just found a set of Jeep mirrors as shown in this brochure. MontanaOverland. Nice people.

I gotta admit, this top does look cool:

Here is a brochure from the 1960s:

And here are some images of the black Whitco NOS Tonneau Cover I will send to... you?

It is an Extang Full Tilt... available at:

I have already removed the Extang from the Gladiator and have no intentions of using it again.

It is in absolutely perfect condition.

I will most like be selling it here on this forum when my project is completed.

I would check with the company that makes those. They may be the original guys.

We think alike.

I also have a booklet with a lot of Jeep Dealers name, address, phone from the early 70s.

Been making some phone calls. No luck yet.
