mic63's '63 Wagoneer

Post by mic63 »

Purchased by the original owner at Jim Larson Ford, New York Mills, Minnesota on February 16th 1963. After several years of watching ebay listings and out bid on several others, I brought this one home in August 2004 from International Falls, Minnesota. Build date, August 1962. The first month of production for the all new Wagoneer. The 87th one off the line. The original 230 Tornado creates a lot of talk time with motorheads at car shows and heads turning in parades as it rolls by so quiet you have to tune your ears in to hear it running.

2 All the knobs what are they for?

I'm totally loving those indicator lights. Very, very cool. Wish I had something like that on the J10.

That is a sweet looking Wag you got there! I truly love the interior of the first wags. It would be awesome to swap it out into a later model! Yours is of no relation to this ad? http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/wsh/c ... 77898.html

Not mine, but I'm going to look at it this weekend. Thanks for the tip. It has the Willys vin plate, build date May '63. 2 wheel drive, Auto trans, all original.

One is never enough is it? I think I saw the ad posted on IFSJA but then I read your post and thought it strange that 2 people in MN almost have the exact same Jeep.
