Greetings all! Been around the site for a bit getting help with my TBI swap, figured I'd show off the rest of my truck and exceed your daily recommended dose of orange at the same time! 360/TH400/QT. Part time conversion done by a previous owner, probably the same one that left me about 40 dead hornets (and 1 live one!) on the floorboards, mouse poison on the a/c compressor, and an old spark plug screwed into the exhaust manifold. Replaced the original dizzy with an HEI unit from CRT Performance. Junkyard TBI conversion that mostly kinda sorta works. Edelbrock intake and after this weekend Edelbrock timing set and a brand new cam gear! Woo!
Drove it home and immediately replaced the old chevy wheels with a set of steelies from Pro-Comp and 30x9.50 rubber. Replaced the front bumper with a winch bumper from BJ's Offroad. One day I'll actually get it all squared up. At some point the front seats were replaced with Toyota buckets. I acquired a set from an early 80's Chero and put some 'extreme taupe' covers on them. (No joke, that is the color from the store on ebay) Put a mount for a Hi-Lift jack on the tire carrier and a new non-rusty fuel can. Future plans include getting the TBI dialed in, 4" lift and 33's, and re-covering the seats. Enjoy!

Cleaned Susan up today after a trip to get some new camping stuff. Spray 'n wash with some sudsy wand definitely worth it despite a couple weird looks from the tuner crowd hanging out across the parking lot.

After installing 3" Lift springs from Rough Country with new shocks. I like the stance, very level and not too tall. Makes the wheels look semi-small from some angles, but after parking it next to my buddy's Range Rover it looks pretty good in comparison. Pretty much done with mods for a while. When I wear the current tires out I'll replace them with 32's. Unless someone wants to trade me for my 30's of course
The ride isn't too bad. It is stiff, rides like a truck, but it is actually slightly better than my super saggy old stock leaves with nasty worn out shocks. And I don't constantly hear groaning, creaking, and banging as I go down the road. Rough Country was easy to deal with, they had good pricing, and the shipping was surprisingly quick. I'm sure there are better springs out there for ride quality but for a truck I don't drive every day it's fine. Enjoy!
