They can make door panels to match the fabric you choose for your seats. It will not look factory, but would look vintage.

A few updates:

Had to retire the Jeep for the winter. Had some wiring issues that have since been resolved with new GXL wire. I found all the wires needed to be replace in the right color and gage and even the correct terminals.

Next was the new tires and wheels. I went with BF Goodrich KO2's in a 33x10.5x15. Under 1000.00 for 5 tires with wheels, woot!

Then with the new tire purchase I needed a lift kit. Got a great price on a 3" Rough Country kit.

Thanks Tedlovesjeeps71.

A few shots of the Jeep flexed. Wanted to see if I needed longer brake hoses then when I got home I realized I had not changed out the rear shocks yet. Only have about 2" of down motion on the stock shocks. Oh well she still flexes well and it appears that all tires clear bad things.....

Thanks!

Been a few weeks with the new lift and I have to say I like it! Ride is nearly as smooth as with the old springs. I do have some bump steer issues, but have a drop pitman coming.

Holley pump failed. It started to weep fuel out of the weep hole and it did not even make it a year. :banghead: . This is a non-repairable condition for the Holley Red Pumps. Only a 3 month warranty so out of luck. So I decided I was not going to reuse a Holley. Read some good comments on the Carter 4070 http://amzn.to/2r5rqKC . It comes with a 1 year warranty and half the price of a Holley Red  . In looking around a bit more I found a Precision E16048 at O"Reilly auto parts http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/detai ... +universal. It is the same pump. Costs a bit more, but this one has a lifetime warranty on it, worth the extra to me plus they had one in stock :-bd . Installed it and it is running great, so lets hope I have better luck with this one.

Worked on the center console the last two weekends. Finally able to bolt it in. Still needs some work such as carpet and electronics, but at least I can see the end now.

Finally after 19 years I installed the TrailBlazer auxiliary tank in the Jeep. A short video of the process https://youtu.be/i1_vtRkeAv8 . I am using two electric pumps. I have one way valves installed the tank lines to prevent the pumps from pumping fuel back into the opposite tank. One "on-off-on" switch changes the tank I am running on. So far working great except for some rust sediment that clogged my first filter.

Looking for solutions for the rear window channel I came up with this idea. Frugal alternative to expensive window channel.
