Always liked your rig. WT 4dr's should have been an option from the factory.

Thanks for sharing!

Looks great!

I can't wait to see it swaying on the trailer to Ouray and then bouncing on the rocks on the trail :!:

Thanks guys, she has come along since my father in law found her in that driveway in Nevada. Sat there for several years before I got it then sat in my garage for 3 years before I could afford to replace the engine. Been doing upgrades here and there ever since.

Incredible looking rig! At the rear fenders did you modify the door or split the fender flare? I cannot tell from the photo.

Thanks!

I didn't do the body work so I am not sure how they did it. Here are some pics I took when I first brought it home.

I am officially jealous ^:)^ This is what I have been thinking for a little while now. Now I have to get back to the thinking well. Sweet rig though.

I really love having a WT 4-door. I can get the kids in and out easier and I think the wider stance looks a lot better along with better traction. The theory is that it was possibly built by Brian Chuchua Jeep in CA. Brian Chuchua was an off-road racer from the 60's and 70's that raced Wagoneer's. He had a dealership that was supposed to have done this conversion to several Wagoneers. They took front fenders and the drivetrain from Cherokee's and did the custom body work for the rear flares. I don't have any proof of this other then what the PO told me. He told me the Waggy came from CA and was used as a hunting vehicle. He also said the front end was from a Chero and a shop did the rear which would goes along with the Chucua thing.

I know, I know, digging up an old thread. I just love this Waggy even more every time I look at it. Makes me think that I need to do a W/T conversion on mine when the time comes for a repaint.

Hi Kenne,

The TBI was put together from junkyard parts. It's a pretty common upgrade among FSJ'ers.

The fuel tank is from AeroTanks out of CA. http://www.aerotanks.com/vehicles/jeep.html. I am using part number 1923A.
