79 golden eagle.

A project I have been working on.
Almost a full resoration/mod.
Just got it back from paint.

So far..
New fuel system complete. Everything from filler to lines.
New brakes complete with SS lines.
New dual diaphragm booster.
Yukon hubs
Hesco based 4.7 FI stroker
904 trans D300 tcase

That is a beautiful piece of art! Keep us posted! I have a 79 chief that's been in the works for a while now. Trying to finalize mechanical before I get to body and paint.

That is intensely beautiful. Man oh man. I like the look of the those aftermarket, yet traditional-looking wheels.
73 J4000. 360, MC 2100, T18A, D20, stock closed knuckle Dana 44 front, 60-2 rear. Warn Lock-O-Matics, Warn/Belleview electric winch, true duals with glasspacks, old-school front diff skid plate, used 265 Toyos on 16" AR wheels.

Also is that paint color sable brown? Its my favorite FSJ color of all time. Ive done 3 in that color.

Was that an original I6 Golden Eagle or did you swap it? I never knew the GE was available with the I6 until I saw Dustin's and one other GE J10 on Craigslist.

The Golden Eagle package could be ordered with any base drivetrain. But it is weird that a cheap I6 3-speed manual would have an expensive Golden Eagle package added.
