. Buick 350. 3 speed column shift. Was old fire dept rig in Mammoth Lakes California. No options cept the engine and heater. 44044 springs up front and 52" Chevy 4" lift springs in rear. I'm making my ac hoses and stuff now. Gotta have ac in Florida.
What's up swampedge, are those leafs that you can find readily available? I need to do something with the 70, the leafs are just about bent the wrong way. Your rig seems to sit higher then stock by quite a bit.
Very nice setup! I will be starting on a '69 this summer- is there a build/best practice thread, or did you pick your springs/mounts yourself & just use trial & error?
64wagoneer bought the mounts and springs and once installed I liked it so I did the same thing. So then I bought a set of 4" lift 52" K5 blazer springs and installed them in the back. It has a slight rake to it so now I think I'm going to buy a set of 4" later model Wagoneer springs up front to level it out. If it sets to high I can shim the axle up a little where by lowering the body to get it dead level. So the whole which spring to use came from 64wagoneer over the phone so now he's waiting for the final ride height adjustment on mine then we'll know what springs work. If you look at my rear mounts you will see lines drawn on the frame. From those lines all placements were made and tacked in before final welding.
