OK So I got a smoking deal on 2 50 inch curved light bars from 1AAuto through Jeep Forum. Going to give one to my bro-in-law and keep one. We did a quick 'hold it up' under the brow and it's not really bad. He can probably do his J20 that way, but my roll cage halo bar goes through that area. So I need to think of something else. The curve is looks pretty good above the brow but looking for thoughts/pictures.
Thanks.

Stuka, probably not. I have a factory roll bar but the light bar is curved. I got two of them and gave one to my bro in law. we are mocking his up below the brow. Will take some pics tomorrow, but I think the roll bar is to far back. Besides I have some big 7 inch HID's for that along with my go light.
The 4 inch HIDs will be in the Cliffhanger bumper. I think I am going to need a 2nd battery

We mounted one of the 50 inch below the brow on my bro in law 74. Will post up a picture. We are going to make different mounts but wanted to get an idea. Looks pretty good.

How deep is it? It's it is one of those slimlines you might be able to fit it just under the hood latch area/in front of the radiator. Wouldn't even know its there until you turned it on.

Not bad...
I would be inclined to place it at the bottom of the grille, at the bumper to prevent light-washing the hood out. You're going to have a nice amount of backscatter from that bar so it's something to consider.

That looks like crap to me.
How is the glare off the hood at night in the desert?

What does this have to do with off-road tech?

Well it started with me asking where to mount a 50 inch light bar for off road use. I am still not sure where I will mount it. But I consider it off road because (1) It's to bright for street use (2) it's illegal to have it turned on, on the street, and (3) it will get you a ticket pretty quick if it's uncovered on the street.
